Mary Ann McNamara
Mary Ann McNamara was my great-great-great-grandmother.
Mary Ann was born in 1818 in Boyne Roscommen, Ireland (TBC).
She and her husband, John McGarry, were living in Bolton in Lancashire in 1849 when their daughter, also called Mary Ann, was born.
John and Mary Ann and their five children arrived in Sydney in 1856 as assisted migrants aboard the David McIver. They were both aged 38 when they arrived.

Liverpool in 1865 when daughter, Anne, married Leo Lewis.
Death
Mary Ann died on 10 June at her home in Charles Street, Liverpool. It appears she died from burns received in an accident or house fire. She was 66 years old and her occupation was listed as "boarding house keeper" [1].
Burial
Mary Ann was buried on 11 June 1879 at what is now the Pioneers' Memorial Park in Liverpool [1]. I cannot be sure but think she is buried with her husband, John, who predeceased her. I was unable to locate a separate headstone for her and she is not mentioned on John's headstone.
