Crookwell
Crookwell is a small town in New South Wales about half-an-hour's drive north-west of Goulburn.
Many of my Seery ancestors lived in or around Crookwell at some time. Michael Seery and his wife, Bridget, settled at a place called Native Dog Flat near Crookwell in 1853. They had bought land there and Michael was buried in Crookwell cemetery when he died in 1894.
