Charlotte Vincent was my great-great-great-grandmother. She was born in about 1824 in Feltwell in Norfolk, England.
Charlotte appears in the 1841 census as a 16-year-old, living with her parents and seven siblings. They lived in Chaple Street in the parish of St Mary and St Nicholas in Feltwell. Chaple Street is now Hill Street.
The original church of St Nicholas dates back to 683 and was united with that of St Mary's Church in the village in 1805. St Nicholas' closed for services other than funerals in about 1864 and was declared redundant in 1973 [1]. Note that Hill House B & B is close to the church.
